On May 5, 2025, Split Aesthetic Academy proudly hosted an advanced educational event focused on the scientific foundations and evolving techniques of aesthetic medicine. Designed for medical professionals and students, the program combined structured lectures with hands-on practical training, offering a comprehensive learning experience.

The day began with practical group sessions, followed by expert-led lectures addressing key topics in facial aesthetics and skin health. Dr. Goran Tintor opened the lecture segment with an in-depth overview of facelift fundamentals, highlighting modern techniques, emerging trends, and transformative approaches in facial rejuvenation. This was followed by Dr. Magdalena Ivic, who addressed common skincare myths and facts, with a special focus on evidence-based management of acne-prone skin.

Further expanding on dermatological foundations, Dr. Josipa Burkić delivered a lecture on acne pathophysiology, offering clinical insights into pore biology and patient-centered treatment strategies. The program concluded with Dr. Blagoja Markoski, who explored the anatomy of the lower third of the face and shared advanced Botox application techniques for achieving optimal, natural-looking results.

In the second half of the day, lectures continued with Dr. Tin Cohadzic, who presented on regenerative medicine and its expanding role beyond traditional aesthetics. Dr. Alvaro Gomez Diaz followed with a lecture on evidence-based acne therapies, emphasizing breakthrough treatments supported by current scientific research.

The event concluded with a supervised practical workshop, where participants applied learned techniques in a controlled clinical setting. This balance of theory, practice, and expert mentorship reflects SEA’s commitment to excellence, safety, and continuous professional development in aesthetic medicine.
